After more than 30 years as a professional photographer I have experimented in almost every field of photography. I started as a photojournalist by writing and taking pictures for several newspaper and magazines. I did this while traveling extensively from Ireland to the Middle East for news and war stories. Also, I traveled to Great Britain, Spain, France, the former Soviet Union and to Africa for photo-reportages about tourism, economy, politics, etc. I then settled in Rome where I started a commercial Studio which I subsequently moved to Tuscany where I worked at still life photography and publicity for several companies. Wines, liqueurs and cars were most common. I also did several important publicity campaigns for Martini & Rossi. At the same time, I was working with an editorial staff taking pictures for different books about Tuscan architecture and landscape. In the recent years my work has especially focused in the architectural field, mostly for private clients and magazines. This includes photographing ancient Villas, country houses, interiors and gardens. I am also working at the fine art printing, personally printing the pictures for exhibitions and sale.
